Football tournament 2026 for Berkshire schools

In Oct 2026, we held our first tournament of the year for BPET schools in Berkshire.

Sixty children took part, both boys and girls from Years 3 and 4, who congregated at Rivermead Primary School for a fantastic day of football, taking advantage of their vast outdoor space.

In the sunshine, the focus was on enjoying the game, having fun and developing important skills. All teams demonstrated fantastic teamwork, communication and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, making it a brilliant afternoon for everyone involved.

Congratulations to Evendons Primary School boys and Rivermead Primary School girls for coming out on top, and a very big well dome to Braywick Court School children too. Every child received a participation medal, with the winning teams taking home the trophies!

A big thank you to BPET Sports Champion Jack Briley for organising, and to Rivermead for hosting the event and helping to make it such a success.

We look forward to the next tournament in our Berkshire schools!
