Networking sessions
As part of our continuing professional development offer, we create opportunities to share the high quality provision in every BPET school in a meaningful and practical way, where staff learn from each other as well as from external experts and consultants.

Assessment Leaders networks - led by Toby Mills-Bishop
A termly network session for all assessment leaders to come together and shape the direction assessment moves in across BPET. It is also a chance to share and discuss best practice on things such as custom report writer usage on Arbor, use of standardised scores to track progress, pupil progress meetings and reporting arrangements to parents.

Century Tech will be running an online refresher training session on the platform.

English Subject Leaders showcase day & networks - led by Olivia Foreshaw BPET English Trust champion
Dates: TBC.

Digital networks - led by Daniel Green
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss and share:
- progress towards school IT strategy targets
- upcoming projects that the school are planning
- IT training requirements for staff
- feedback on use of software and services in schools
- requirements for new software and services to investigate.

EYFS Leaders networks - led by Natalia Levene
Termly opportunities to meet with EYFS leaders to discuss latest research, guidance and best practice. These sessions will look at common themes emerging from BPET review visits, sector recommendations and the importance of frequent interactions between children and adults, especially in the areas of communication, language, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development.

SEND Leaders networks - led by Anouska Sehmi
An opportunity for all SENDCos and Inclusion Leaders within an extremely challenging role in the current climate, to come together in a supportive fashion, to discuss all things SEND using the experience and best practice within BPET.

A drop in session led by Alison Colenso for those who are leading or supporting a learning review team and have any questions.

Headteacher networks - led by Mark Greatrex
An opportunity for BPET Headteachers to meet four times a year in person to discuss the challenges across their schools, hear about exciting new opportunities from other schools or from outside providers, and contribute to the development of BPET as a whole. Important space for Headteachers to share their challenges in confidence and develop relationships with other key leaders in BPET.

Local Governing Board networks - led by Mark Greatrex
For all Local Governing Board Chairs, senior members of the central team and the Chair of Trustees, Claire Delaney.

School Operations Managers networks - led by Jane Aust
Online meetings that provide a valuable opportunity to ask questions, develop knowledge, and build skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
Date: 2 March 2027.

Site Managers networks - led by Jane Aust
These meetings are a networking opportunity for the site teams and a chance for both personal and school improvement. Each day will provide:
- a forum for site teams to discuss and share expertise,
- opportunities to visit other BPET schools.

I am proud to be part of BPET, they are a forward thinking and ambitious trust. The uniqueness of every school within BPET is celebrated and encouraged, for me the commitment to educational autonomy for each school is key. We can develop a curriculum that meets the needs of our school community and do so with the full support of the trust Central Team.
BPET staff are empowered as professionals to follow their passions, develop their skills and challenge themselves. I have been offered a wealth of high quality CPD and as BPET has grown there have been numerous opportunities to get involved across the trust. The talent pool across BPET is very strong, staff at all levels have a network of colleagues to share practice and shape the vision of education for our pupils. I feel like each member of staff is seen, known and valued as an individual. I truly feel like I work as part of a big family!
