BPET in the top 9% of all MATs in England
The Department for Education recently ranked all multi-academy trusts in England according to attainment figures: BPET is 16th out of 204 multi-academy trust (of eight schools or more), which is in the top 7% across England.
If considering all trusts in England, BEPT is in the 60th position out of all 649 (of more than two schools), which places us in the top 9% of all MATs in England for attainment.
The figures were calculated taking into account the attainment at the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6 pupils) for the 2023-2024 academic year: 75% of BPET pupils met the expected standard in Reading, Writing & maths combined, which is 14% above national average. The numbers refer to eights BPET schools, as four where not part of BPET at the time and have therefore not been included in this exercise.
Chief Education Director, Laura Gregory, says: "We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their hard work and achievement, and we extend our deepest thanks to our dedicated teachers and teaching assistants for their unwavering support. These outstanding results also reflect the strength of our Bellevue Place Education Trust CPD and Collaboration offer, which empowers staff to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning. With 75% of BPET Year 6 pupils meeting the expected standard—14% above the national average—our schools continue to demonstrate excellence. Ranking in the top 9% of all MATs in England is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the ambition of our pupils. Well done to all!"
